The Deligram is an ode to the artisanal food makers of New York. And it wouldn’t be what it is without a little help from our friends, who help us discover the best of the best every day. So, to wrap up the summer, we asked Brooklyn-based cook and creative Maryah Ananda to share what she loves right now.
Maryah’s Favorite Things
The Pocket Apron by Oddli and Nala
“My absolute favorite apron. It has nine pockets all over the apron made from deadstock fabrics.”
Saraghina’s Fresh Pappardelle
“I get it every other week. Two bundles is perfect for two people. It has a wonderful feel and catches sauce beautifully. I made a black garlic, tomato and coconut sauce with it. Absolutely delicious.”
Playful Glassware
“I’m in love with any coupe glass. but the ones currently at Big Night from Maison Balzac are SO cute. Also anything Sophie Lou Jacobsen will elevate the table in a fun, playful way.”
A Great Face Mask
“I love doing a mask to ground and rejuvenate. This one is Golde’s Clean Greens mask. I also love Cocokind’s Chlorophyll mask.
Bakeri’s Treats
“I absolutely love getting their cosmo smoothie, as well as all their baked goodies. Just chocolaty, thick goodness that never disappoints. It’s one of my favorite bakeries in Brooklyn.”
Bed Threads’ Flax Linen Tablecloth
“I worked with Bed Threads for a sponsored charity dinner to raise funds for Heart of Dinner and One Love Community Fridge. Their organic flax linen tableware is a staple for any casual or curated dinner. It’s classic, but can also be playful with their array of colors and scalloped placemats and napkins.”
Di An Di’s San Junipero 10 Mocktail
“It is my new favorite go-to.”
Comfortable Shoes
“I love wearing Merrell clogs for long days in the kitchen or casual errand days. They’re soooo comfortable and multi-functioning. I also love these Vagabond square-toe sandals.”
